About Me

My photo
Susan
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
dragonfly95@hotmail.ca Susan Shepard is a contemporary artist who paints colorful artwork on wood and canvas using acrylic paint. Susan has been painting since 2002. Susan paints with her fingers on the floor but sometimes she uses a palate knife or a brush. Susan is inspired by colors and textures. Susan also loves to pour like Pollack as in the painting Pollack Interrupted which gets its title because the pouring was interrupted with tape. Now that Susan has discovered pouring medium she uses either water or the pouring medium or both to dilute the paint. Many of her pieces have religious significance.
